About this visa


Visitor visa (Subclass 600) for people who wish to travel to Australia as a tourist, for business or for visiting a family. This is a temporary visa
This visa has four streams:

Travel: For people traveling to Australia for a vacation, fun or visiting family and friends.
If you apply for this visa in Australia, you must be in Australia

When the visa is decided. If you apply for this visa outside Australia, you must be outside it
Australia when the visa is approved.

Professional Visitor Stream: For Business Travelers to Australia

A visit to a business involves going to a conference, negotiating or meeting. When you apply and when you decide on a visa, you must be outside of Australia.

Family Family: For people traveling to Australia to see their family.

You must have a sponsor who will be asked to deposit. You must be outside of Australia when you apply and when you have decided on a visa. You can not apply for a visa after entering Australia.

Flow status of destination approval: For people from the People's Republic of China travel to an organized group. You must be outside of Australia
